Our Chewies® olive wood products are made from the prunings of gnarled olive trees in Italy. The trees are regularly cleared of dead wood so that they can bear new fruit—an ecologically sustainable measure that we put to good use. The wood is cleaned, debarked, and sanded by hand in Germany—natural, tested for harmful substances, and easy to grip.

How to find the right olive wood:

Choose a size that prevents the wood from fitting behind the back molars. For particularly strong chewers, we recommend choosing a larger size. If the olive wood becomes too small after prolonged use, it should be replaced to ensure continued safety and enjoyment.
